Teaching Experience & Approach

Marcus Greferath holds a Habilitation — the German academic qualification certifying the independent ability to lead a subject in research and teaching at the highest level. With more than 30 years of university-level teaching experience across Germany, the USA, Finland, and Ireland, he has developed and delivered courses at all academic levels, from first-year service courses to advanced graduate seminars.

His teaching integrates modern web-based tools such as WeBWorK for interactive, formative assessment in undergraduate courses, supplemented by online learning materials.
