Travel from Airport

Participants coming from Dublin airport may take the Aircoach bus that goes to Leopardstown (also known as Service 700. The bus has a 24/7 service and runs every 15 minutes during the day and every 30 minutes at night time. Its stop is at the exit of each of the terminals T1 and T2. The journey to UCD is about 45 minutes long. Tickets can be purchased either online or directly at the Airport. The price of a journey is around 10 EUR (one way) and 15 EUR (return ticket).

A Taxi fare from Dublin Airport to city centre is around 25 EUR while the fare from Dublin Airport to UCD is around 50 EUR.

Conference Venue

The Conference will be held on first floor in the UCD O’Brien Centre for Science (North), which is building No 65 on the UCD map. Plenary sessions will take place in the morning in room 129 while parallel sessions are scheduled in the afternoons and take place in rooms 125, 128 and 129.

The Coffee breaks will be served on UCD O’Brien Centre for Science (East), building No 67.

Further Particulars

A Welcome Reception (free of charge for registered participants) will take place on Monday evening from 6PM in UCD Club House (building No 70 on the map).

An Afternoon Excursion at Glendalough (free of charge for registered participants) is scheduled on Wednesday 13 June 2018 between 1.30 PM-7.00PM.

The Conference Dinner will take place on Thursday 14 June 2018 from 7.00PM in Beaufield Mews Stilorgan Restaurant
Participants may attend the event at a discounted price of EUR 20 by completing the payment here.

Accommodation on Campus

Participants who booked on campus accommodation are required to check in at UCD Merville Residences which is located on the ground floor of building 37 on UCD map. The reception is 24/7 open. After that, they will be allocated a room in UCD Roebuck Castle Residences, this is the colourful building located near Building 61 on the map.

Eating on Campus

There are plenty of possibilities for lunch at noontime. Restaurants and food outlets available are:

Pi Restaurant in UCD O’Brien Center for Science (East): building No 67

UCD Club House: building No 70

Main Restaurant: first floor in building No 51 (also evening meals served)

Earls Deli, next to building No 30
