University College Dublin, June 30 - July 4, 2014

The conference will be held on the UCD Belfield campus. Funding support for accommodation should be available for all academic participants, but it is not guaranteed. In particular, graduate students should investigate the possibility of obtaining support from their home institution. All participants are responsible for organising and funding their own travel to and from Dublin.

Travel and other info

(1) For participants coming from outside Dublin, if you have indicated that you require accommodation then this will be arranged (including breakfast from Monday to Friday), at no cost. Go to the bottom of this e-mail for instructions on how to get to UCD.

(If you are coming from Dublin, the attached map will suffice. Just in case, Miguel's mobile number is 00 353 858 336 236.)

(2) The ESGI102 Registration is at 8:45 AM on Monday 29 June, in the building marked 49 (Quinn School of Business), see attached map. Upon registration, participants will receive a welcome pack including a name badge, polypropylene folder, pens, notepads and maps (note: bags won't be provided).

(3) All participants will be provided (at no cost) with lunch, dinner and coffee breaks from Monday morning until the lunch on Friday, which takes place right after the end of the Study Group.

Instructions for participants coming from Dublin Airport

There is an Aircoach bus stop at the exit of each of the terminals T1 and T2 (it works all day 24/7). Take the Aircoach bus that goes to Leopardstown (also known as Service 700). Ask the driver to go into UCD. This is a new thing which I have not checked but if it works then the driver will drop you very close to the Summer@UCD accommodations. If it does not work then the driver will drop you near the main UCD entrance which is still close to the accommodations (see attached map for more information).

There are two ways to pay for this trip:

(a) In advance, online at:

- Make sure you enter the following discount code: UCD

- Bring the printed booking confirmation and show it to the driver

(b) By cash, directly at the bus stop

You can buy a return trip in both cases.

Instructions for all participants staying at the UCD accommodations

Once you are at UCD, use the attached map to guide you to the reception desk of Summer@UCD accommodations (open all day 24/7). You will need to provide them with your name and they will guide you to your room. Please double-check your departure date with the receptionist and if there is any problem please let me know.

Useful info: There is a CENTRA supermarket near the reception desk. Also, you can find the reception desk (Merville residences) and the ESGI102 venue (Quinn School of Business) on Google maps.
