Koike-Schur-Weyl duality and Spin Networks: applications to unitary invariant random matrices

Time: 3:00PM
Date: Mon 23rd March 2026
Location: E0.32 (beside Pi restaurant) [map]

Abstract: In this talk, I will discuss about two algebraic tools which allowed recently to achieve new results for some unitary random matrices models. I will focus here on applications to two closely related models: the Atiyah-Bott-Goldman measure and the 2d Yang-Mills measure. I shall consider, for large NxN unitary matrices, the problems of convergence of moments and of large N expansions. This talk is based on the pre-publication arXiv:2603.11374.

(This talk is part of the Probability series.)
