Further informationAbstract: Banach lattices are mathematical objects that have compatible Banach space and a lattice structures. They can be viewed as a category in two different ways, depending on whether you focus on positive operators ($x\leq y \Rightarrow Tx \leq Ty$) or lattice preserving operators ($T(x\vee y) = Tx \vee Ty$). We will review some developments of recent years concerning the latter approach, inspired by the work of de Pagter and Wickstead on free Banach lattices.
