Abstract: In this talk we will discuss an integral equation featuring a negative exponent motivated by the Matukuma equation. This equation is arising in the globular cluster and mass density in astrophysics. We will discuss the existence, nonexistence, asymptotic behaviour and uniqueness of a solution.
