Abstract: In Mergelyan type theorems we approximate uniformly on compact sets K functions by polynomials, rational functions or functions holomorphic on varying open sets containing K. We replace the uniform approximation by uniform approximation of all derivatives. The case of one complex variable can be found in an article of Armeniakos, Kotsovolis and Nestoridis https://arxiv.org/abs/2006.02389 which appeared in Monachefte fur Mathemetik (2022). In this talk we present some extensions to several complex variables, based on join work with P. M. Gauthier.
