Abstract: Spin factors, also known as spaces of Spinors, or as Type IV Cartan factors, form a somewhat obscure class of Banach spaces. We will briefly review their algebraic structure paying particular attention to their holomorphic automorphisms with a view to identifying the existence of fixed points.
