Abstract: The Choquard equation was introduced by D. R. Hartree in 1928 in relation to the Schrödinger model in quantum physics. Mathematically, it came under closer investigation starting in the mid-1970s. In this talk, I will discuss the Choquard equation in the half-space under a Robin boundary condition. Liouville-type results and optimal conditions for the existence of a classical solution will be presented.
