Conference Venue

The Conference will be held in Room 128 Physics which is on the first floor of the UCD O’Brien Centre for Science (North), building No 65 on the UCD map. The coffee breaks and lunches will be served in the School of Mathematics and Statistics Common Room also in Science (North).

Travel from Airport

Participants coming from Dublin airport may take the Aircoach bus that goes to Leopardstown (also known as Service 700. The bus has a 24/7 service and runs every 15 minutes during the day and every 30 minutes at night time. Its stop is at the exit of each of the terminals T1 and T2. The journey to UCD is about 45 minutes long. Tickets can be purchased either online or directly at the Airport. The price of a journey is around 10 EUR (one way) and 15 EUR (return ticket).

A Taxi fare from Dublin Airport to city centre is around 25 EUR while the fare from Dublin Airport to UCD is around 50 EUR.

The Conference Dinner will take place on Thursday 23 May 2019 from 7.00PM in Beaufield Mews Stilorgan Restaurant
Participants may attend the event at a price of EUR 35 per person to be paid in cash to conference organisers on Thursday May 23rd.

There are plenty of possibilities for lunch at noontime. Restaurants and food outlets available are:

Pi Restaurant in UCD O’Brien Center for Science (East): building No 67

UCD Club House: building No 70

Main Restaurant: first floor in building No 51 (also evening meals served)

Earls Deli, next to building No 30
