Abstract

In this talk I will give an overview of numerical modelling activities at Met Éireann. This will include details of the operational forecasting suite currently running, in particular the mesoscale HARMONIE-AROME model developed by the HIRLAM and ALADIN consortia. I will also discuss future plans and provide an outline of ongoing research problems relating to numerical methods for weather prediction.
