I am an Assistant Professor in Applied and Computational Maths at the School of Mathematics and Statistics at University College Dublin. I am a member of the Fluid Dynamics research group.

My research lies between Applied Maths and Earth Sciences and is highly interdisciplinary and predominantly application-driven. I use mathematical modelling to study environmental fluid dynamics problems, such as groundwater transport, ice sheet dynamics and water wave energetics. I am also interested in modelling and optimisation in sports, such as rowing and cycling.
