A converse theorem for double Dirichlet series

Abstract: We discuss a first converse theorem about double Dirichlet series asserting that a double Dirichlet series satisfying suitable functional equations and holomorphicity conditions originates from metaplectic Eisenstein series. This is joint work with D. Goldfeld.
