Signatures of hermitian forms

Abstract: Let $F$ be a formally real field, $A$ a central simple $F$-algebra and $\sigma$ an $F$-linear involution on $A$. I will describe how to compute signatures of hermitian forms defined over $(A,\sigma)$ with respect to orderings on $F$ and address a gap in the literature.
This is joint work with Vincent Astier.
