Bernd Kreussler (Mary Immaculate College)
will speak on
Elliptic Curves, A-infinity structures and Yang-Baxter equations
Time: 4:00PM
Date: Mon 19th April 2010
Location: Mathematical Sciences Seminar Room

Abstract: The essence of homological mirror symmetry is that structural properties of
triangulated categories should provide solutions of equations from
mathematical physics. In this talk it will be explained how structural
properties of the bounded derived category of an elliptic curve lead to
elliptic solutions of Yang-Baxter equations.
(This talk is part of the Algebra and Number Theory series.)
