Maximum nonlinear functions

Abstract: There are two notions of how to measure the
nonlinearity of functions defined on finite fields.
In my talk, I will discuss both approaches, in
particular the extremal case of functions which
are in some sense as nonlinear as possible.
I will present new results disproving some
conjectures and which suggest further research.
(This talk is part of the Algebra and Number Theory series.)
