Abstract: MORGAM is a European prospective study of risk and genetics of cardiovascular disease (CAVD) in over 30,000 people. Platelets are known to have a role in cardiovascular disease and genetic variants associated with platelet function, along with risk-factor phenotypes, were assessed for CAVD risk. Genotyping was performed in a case-cohort setting for multiple endpoints and analysed using weighted partial-likelihood (Cox) model and Bayesian full-likelihood
