Name: Maciej Klimek (Uppsala)Speaking: Wed 8th May 10:00 - 10:25Title: Geometry of vector arrays and operator ampliationsAbstract: Hilbert frames and their more abstract extensions provide to a large extent the computational convenience and geometric clarity of orthonormal bases, while being much more general and flexible than the latter. The purpose of this talk will be to show how a fully functional frame like setting can be introduced in the space of vector arrays. The construction will be illustrated with applications to linear algebra and time series analysis.
