Applications are invited for the post of Professor of Meteorology & Climate Science, in the School of Mathematical Sciences.

The successful candidate will be an outstanding academic who wants to work in a highly interdisciplinary environment and can engage different disciplines to build a world class teaching and research programme. They will undertake and publish high quality research, participate effectively in the School’s graduate and undergraduate programmes and will also be expected to play a significant role in bids for national and international research funding.

Salary Scale 2010: €113,604 - €145,952 p.a.

Salary Scale 2011: €102,244 - €131,357 p.a.*

*Applies to all new entrants to public sector as of 01 January 2011.

Appointment on scale will be made commensurate with qualification and experience.
